The project
One house, four homes.
The house on Farbstrasse in Schwanden was originally a single-family home. In 2012 it was fully refurbished and divided into four self-contained apartments.
The building was stripped back to its load-bearing structure, the floor plans were reorganised and every installation was renewed. Its characteristic look with the red shutters still defines the house today.
